Victoria "Vickie" Webb-Ellis

1949 - 2014

Vickie Lee Webb-Ellis, age 65, entered the Kingdom of heaven in Redding, Ca. on Sunday May 25, 2014. Vickie was born to James & Bernice Webb on February 24, 1949 in Long Beach, Ca.

During her life, Vickie lived in Compton, Bishop, Marysville, Red Bluff, Corning and Redding, Ca. She graduated from Enterprise High School in 1967. After graduation, Vickie worked at Montgomery Ward in the fashion department. She was a true "fashionista", with several modeling shoots published in the Record Searchlight. Vickie then began a career with Bank of America, working in Redding and Red Bluff.

Vickie was diagnosed with a brain tumor that eventually ended her career at Bank of America. She spent the remainder of her life in Redding hunting, fishing, exploring, bowling, crafting, and spending time with family & friends.

Survivors include her son Jason Ellis, grandson A.J., granddaughter Josephine, sister Tina Hill (Mitch), niece Adrienne Gurell, nephews Matthew Hill, Travis Hill and Jordan Webb. She is also survived by two great nieces and one great nephew and her "Iowa" family. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents James & Bernice Webb and her brothers George and Jim Webb.

A memorial service for Vickie will be held on Saturday July 12th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church 3440 Shasta Dam Blvd. Shasta Lake, Ca.

A reception will follow in the church basement. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery at a later date.
